This is a tool for pulling out threads used in the

chainstitch embroidery machine using in our shop. This tool is for those who embroider using achainstitch embroidery machine.

Apparently, this was originally a tool that came with new Singer and Treasure products. Nowadays, it is difficult to purchase this hook knife by itself in Japan, so we asked our client, Toyoshi, to make one for us.

The blade of the ORIGIL Hook Knife is a knife, and there have been several dangerous instances where people have almost cut their fingers when using it. Therefore, our hook knives are not sharpened to a sharp edge. They are sharp enough that you can cut a thread by placing it against it.

The following is from Tokichi-san

We have made it with a focus on durability so that you can use it for as long as possible.
The blade is made from stainless steel, which is used for cutlery, making it both easy to maintain and strong.
The handle is oil stained to ensure coloring and water resistance.

The journey from production request to prototype and completion

We requested multiple samples and after examining the shape of the hook tip and grip, we finally decided on the hook knife shown in the picture. We think that this hook shape is the easiest to pull the yarn out of the crochet hook.

Please take this opportunity to consider placing an order. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
